Abstract:
With the introduction of Visual Studio LightSwitch, Microsoft offers developers of all skill levels a lightweight tool for rapidly building data-centric business applications for the desktop and the cloud. In this session we'll introduce LightSwitch and demonstrate how to construct a LightSwitch application. We'll also deep-dive for a peek at the architecture and extension points that are available to professional developers.
 
About the Speaker:
Jack Leitch is a Senior Consultant and application architect with Dominion Digital in Richmond. He has been building software professionally since 1999, mostly .NET web applications. These days he finds himself most interested in web application architecture, domain-driven design, and parallel processing.
